There are many different types or genres of digital stories - Personal Narratives, Public Service Announcements, Documentaries, etc. One of the most common digital story assignments/activities is a Personal Narrative and will, quite commonly, use a framework like the one below:

	Write a 2-3 page script. Tip -- Take a look at the photos you have and tailor your script to the photos or tailor the photos to your script (gather additional images as needed).
	Gather images and video that support your story.
	Re-write your script to match the photos that you gathered that support your story.
	Record audio narration from the story script using a smartphone or laptop with audio recording software (Audacity is a free, commonly used audio recording software program).
	Edit the images, narration, soundtrack together to create the story.
	Upload your video to YouTube (or another video sharing site) and share it with your class.
